One of the reasons we love
staying in Napili is because there are so many places to walk to and
enjoy. Other areas on Maui are nice but they don't offer "our
glorious walk in paradise."
Come with us on our walk and see just a
few of the reasons we love the Napili area.
As
we leave for our walk let's check out the view of Napili Bay
looking north.
As we head up the road toward
the Ritz Carlton - off to our right we can see the green hills of
Maui. Beauty in every direction.
As we pass the Napili Kai
Beach Club let's duck in and view Napili Bay looking back to the south.
The Napili Shores complex is about in the middle of this picture.
As we come back out of the
Napili Kai Resort we'll make a quick left at the shoreline access to get
down to Kapalua Bay. Kapalua Beach looking out to
the island of Molikai.
As we continue
up the Kapalua Beach we see the grounds of the world famous Kapalua
Resort ahead.
Another view looking back at
this beach that was rated #1 in the world by Conde Naste magazine.
The lobby of the
Kapalua Hotel has a panoramic view - we could stop here for coffee and
enjoy the view, (or do some shopping the Kapalua shops) but let's
keep going there's so much more to see!
As we pass the Ironwoods let's
stop to admire the view at their quiet beach. This is one of
our personal favorite "secret" beaches - so beautiful
and uncrowded! A wide angle lens just cannot capture the 180 degree
view!)
As we continue on past the
golf course on our right and then through the grounds of the Ritz
Carlton we're heading down to their popular beach. It is a
beautiful sight.
As we walk up the hill back
through the Ritz grounds, admiring their pools and landscaping we'll
head out their lobby and back onto the street.
We could continue just a
few steps up to the old country store and have breakfast there and
stop to admire the stained glass windows of the Sacred Heart Catholic
Church - but why not head back to our condo and enjoy our breakfast on
the lanai?! - the view is better from there.....maybe tomorrow we'll
walk up to Pineapple Hill....
